EPA Announces Winners of Earth Day Photo Contest

EPA received nearly 750 entrants for its Earth Day photo contest, and three winners were announced today from around the U.S. and the world.

The contest had three categories, each representing different parts of the environment. The three winners are:

  • Enjoying the Environment: Richard Burkart, Battle Creek, Mich.
  • Protecting the Environment: Julie Larsen Maher, New York, N.Y.
  • Nature and Wildlife: Alex Saberi, London, England

Winners and the top 10 finalists all have their work featured on the EPA site.
