Alleghany County Hosts “Hard to Recycle” Events

The Pennsylvania Resource Council has announced its 2008 Hard to Recycle event schedule, which allows the opportunity for Alleghany County residents to recycle products not collected in curbside programs such as electronics.

The county is offering three separate events on May 31, July 26 and September 20. Residents can bring in appliances, tires, computers, televisions, cell phones and ink cartridges. Some of these items do carry a charge for disposal.
