Huge E-cycling Event in Virginia

Computers, cell phones, televisions and other electronic devices will be accepted free of charge Wednesday through Saturday in Norfolk, Virginia.

The event is open for all Hampton Roads residents, businesses, schools and other organizations with unwanted Virginian-Pilot.

The event is sponsored by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Apple Inc. is “picking up the tab,” according to the article. A Massachusetts contractor, Metech International, will haul away and recycle all the materials.

Items can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at a manned parking lot at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, at the corner of 43rd Street and Powhatan Boulevard.
