Electronic Recycler Wins Entrepreneur of the Year

John Shegarian, Chairman and CEO of Fresno-based Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2008 Award for the category of Clean Technology in Northern California this week.

ERI is the largest recycler of electronic waste in the world, capable of processing over 100 million pounds of obsolete electronics each year. This is the 22nd anniversary of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards.

Shegerian will now compete for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2008 national program. These will be announced on November 15, 2008.
