Maine Going Green Expo to Feature “Art of Recycling”

The next Going Green Expo, which as a series is the largest producer of sustainable expos in the Northeast United States, will feature an art show with exhibits crafted from recycled items. The Expo will take place in Saco, Maine on September 13-14.

Saco was chosen as the location because Going Green Magazine, organizer of the Expo series, has deemed Saco the greenest city in Maine. During nominations for the magazine’s Environmental Hero Award, Saco received an “unusual number of responses,” according to Publisher Wayne King.

The upcoming expo will include a Green Kids Zone and education about alternative energy and green building. Learn more at the Going Green Expo site.
