Minnesota Private College Dines Green

It's a green eating experience at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Campus Dining Services has focused on recycling and product responsibility. Examples of this green progress range from fuel to water and everywhere in between. Dining Services is responsible for much of the recyclable material gathered on campus. Scottsdale Offers Green Business Awards

The Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is looking to recognize local businesses who are practicing sustainability with the Green by Design Awards, and applications are being accepted through September 15. Entrants should demonstrate eco-friendly tactics in areas such as waste reduction, energy/water conservation or product stewardship. Pesticides Among Contaminants Not Regulated in Drinking Water

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released its newest list of what contaminants will be regulated in drinking water, and 11 have been removed from the list, including pesticides and herbicides. New Hope For Scrapped Vehicle Shredder Residue

When a vehicle is recycled, it is first stripped of all valuable parts and then put through a shredder.
