Recycle America Adds LG Electronics Recycling Program

Recycle America has partnered with LG Electronics to provide free recycling of numerous electronics devices at 160 locations throughout the U.S.

The program covers all brands, but free recycling will be provided for LG, Zenith and Goldstar brands. You can drop off up to five products at a time, including:

  • Televisions and monitors
  • VCRs and DVD players
  • Audio equipment

Expansion to all 50 states is expected by the end of September. Recycle America is a program developed by Waste Management, which has partnerships with other electronics manufacturers including Sony.

You can find a location to recycle all sorts of electronics using Earth911.
