GM to Go Landfill-Free

GM recently announced its plans to transition half of its major global manufacturing operations to landfill-free status by the end of 2010. Currently, 43 facilities are considered landfill-free. For GM, this means over 80 of its operations will make this transition in the next 28 months. New iPod Nano “Toxic Free”

Michigan’s DTE Energy Music Theatre Going Green

The DTE Enery Music Theatre in Clarkson, Mich. reached two milestones in its green journey, reports mLive.com. For the past two months, the venue participated in DTE Energy's GreenCurrents renewable energy program, displacing more than 170,000 pounds of carbon dioxide. University of Oklahoma Students on the Green Team

A voluntary crew at the University of Oklahoma is hoping to inspire football game attendees to recycle their The Norman Transcript. During home games, thousand of water bottles and other beverage containers are tossed in trash cans or on the ground.
