ACRC to Celebrate Recycling 100 Million Pounds of Pesticide Containers

The Ag Container Recycling Council (ACRC) is preparing to celebrate collecting over 100,000,000 pounds of triple-rinsed pesticide containers, according to The Tidewater News. The national organization will hold its celebration at its largest collection facility in Southampton County Fairgrounds in Courtland, Va. Florida Company to Recycle Political Signs

Gulf Stream Plastics (GSP), a Florida-based company, is serving as a dropoff site for political signs through Thanksgiving.  Thus far, an estimated 800 pounds of political signs have been collected and shredded, according to The Walton Sun. Waste Recycle Park To Help Clean Up Beaumont, CA

A new $2 million "waste recycle park" will improve efficiency and enhance reuse opportunities at the Lamb Canyon Landfill in Beaumont, Calif., reports the Press Enterprise. The facility will eventually have four buildings, allowing employees to work indoors.
