Xerox Unveils New “Green” Printing Options

The Xerox Corporation recently released a comprehensive program of environmentally responsible paper and resources to help customers fulfill their printing needs with the earth in mind.

Xerox’s new “greener” choices include paper types which contains 20 percent post-consumer content.  Other types of paper are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, the Sustainable Forestry Initiative and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification to help consumers utilize products that meet worldwide standards for sustainable forestry.

Frank Edmonds, senior vice president of Xerox Supplies Business Group noted that Xerox’s “robust portfolio of ‘greener papers’ builds on our long history of commitment to environmental innovation and helps our customers put their sustainability plans into action.”

Among other resources, Xerox will also utilize a sustainability mark on its packaging to help customers locate products that fit their sustainability goals.
