Jet Blue is a great partner of Carbonfund.org’s. You can see what programs they are supporting on our website here: http://www.carbonfund.org/jetblue

Their support funds one of the largest wind farms in Texas, a project that captures landfill methane in New York, and a 1,100-acre reforestation project near the Tensas River National Wildlife Refuge that will help restore native bottomland hardwood species to Louisiana and protect over 400 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, and fish.

I am an avid customer of JetBlue when I HAVE to fly – their environmental commitments just make that choice all -the-wiser.

Jet Blue is a great airline, and I remember seeing awhile back that it stopped giving out headsets for people to watch TVs. That’s a great way to reduce, because the headsets couldn’t be reused for health reasons and it encourages people to bring their own equipment.
