This is just great! (NOT!!!) No you have the Garbage Police going through your trash to see if they can find a way to fine you! Mandatory recycling? I think not. Thank god it hasn't made it to my municipality yet, but I'll be go to hell if I'm going to start "classifying" the trash. When it gets to that point, it will go into a plastic garbage bag and get dumped alongside some dark road at night. Then the "environmentalists" and the township can deal with it anyway.

On behalf of the City of Atlanta, we are thrilled to be included in this list. We applaud the incredible work that is being done by Holly Elmore and the Green Food Alliance to realize the Zero Waste Zone. It is revolutionary and making a true difference in Atlanta.

I was at a baseball game in San Francisco this weekend and during a break in action, all the ushers walked up the aisle accepting plastic bottles (and cups), aluminum and other recyclables from game attendees. Considering there were 40,000 people in attendance, that's a pretty powerful promotion.
