Seattle Says ‘No’ to Bag Tax

‘Ghost Fleet’ Ships to Be Recycled

The U.S. Maritime Administration announced on Monday that it has awarded contracts to recycle the rescue ship Escape and the destroyer tender Cape Cod. Tennessee Creates Task Force on Tire Disposal

Mexico City Requires Biodegradable Plastic Bags

RecycleBank Launches in Phoenix

Phone Books: To Opt-in or Opt-out?

Could ‘Cash for Refrigerators’ Be the Next Govt. Incentive?

The Obama administration is currently considering a $300 million program to offer rebates to consumers that purchase household appliances  meeting ENERGY STAR standards, according to a BusinessWeek report.
