A band-aid measure to satisfy an over thirsty public. No amount of money can improve an inherently bad design. We must provide de-centralised sources of water- like rainwater tanks from people’s roofs!

Unfortunately, the $11.14 billion deal is a proposed General Obligation bond. So while the state lawmakers have passed this, the G.O. bond still must go to public vote for approval and that is scheduled for Nov. 2010. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
