If you want to support the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation but don’t have any old jewelry around the house, try recycling some old formalwear through its Brides Against Breast Cancer program instead. The group collects old bridal and bridesmaids gowns, prom dresses and other formal attire, sells them off at huge discounts compared to retail and uses the funds raised to make dreams come true.
To donate your dress, just fill out a simple form and send it by certified mail. If you want to lend even more help, you can also volunteer at an event or host a “Pink Envelope” wedding reception or shower.
