5. Wine cork bath mat

If you’re a wine drinker, don’t throw those corks away! Use them to spice up your bathroom with this innovative craft idea from Craftynest blogger Monica Ewing. In her simple tutorial, Ewing reuses old pieces of shelf liner and corks she collected from wine tastings to create this nifty conversation piece.

You’ll need 175 corks for a large mat like Ewing’s, but you can create a smaller one if you haven’t collected enough corks from local restaurants, wine tastings and your personal collection.
