Seattle Bans Plastic Bags, Slaps Fee on Paper

Joining its West Coast neighbors San Francisco and Portland, Seattle has passed legislation banning single-use plastic shopping bags to reduce litter and encourage shoppers to use reusable bags. Global E-Cycling Totals $6.8 Billion
