I bought my Kodak DX6490 in Dec. 2003 and still have the same rechargeable battery from when I bought it. Amazing, huh? (Knock on wood! - now that I broadcasted this, it'll probably go dead on me!) And I use it ALL the time, it being a major tool in my business (I sell online & it's necessary to have LOTS of good pics).

P.S. I have a problem with an "eco" site giving away coupons for horrid (because it's NOT environmental) liquid laundry detergent that's in dense plastic packaging! (As I'm visiting this site for the 1st time, I'm seeing all the top commercial name brands of NOT ENVIRONMENTALLY GOOD laundry detergent above this comment box.) Why not turn people on to THE BEST environmentally-friendly AND super effective detergent Bio-Kleen? I've used the powder for years, only have to use cold water because it's so effective AND it smells naturally nice (they have unscented, too). AND w/ the Bio-Kleen, the paperboard carton recycles - that other dense plastic from icky name brands uses petroleum, not to mention other chemicals and all their polluting manufacturing! Oh, AND they use really strong chemicals for a fragrance, most I find offensive now since using natural-scented (citrus) detergent. Earth 911 - Filter your sponsors and do the right thing!
