Unimpressed by the protective Kindle cases found in stores, Jessica from Mom 4 Real readily took up our challenge to make her own design.

Jessica: “I was so excited to get a Kindle Fire for Christmas, but not so excited about the price of the protective cases for them. So, I decided to make my own. I am a fabric lover, and have lots of scraps lying around the house, so I decided to make something pretty. I used fabric scraps, the jacket of a battered book, elastic hair bands, and hot glue to make this fun case for my Kindle. I loved being able to use things that I already had around my home to create a one of a kind Kindle case!”
