Plastic Casing
Plastic casing includes any plastic outer shell that surrounds the internal workings of a product. This type of casing is mostly used for electronics. Due to advancements in technology and the short life of electronic devices, high numbers of electronics are disposed of as e-waste. In 2005, approximately 2 million tons of electronic products were discarded, and only 15-20 percent were recycled.
