Tips on Recycling DVD Players

In the U.S., nearly 2 million tons of e-waste are tossed every year. With such a high disposal rate, it is important to recycle these items. Here are some tips on recycling DVD players:

Start At the Beginning

When purchasing a new DVD player, consider products from companies that have a take-back program for end-of-life (EOL) items. Companies that offer take-back and recycling programs include LG Electronics, Sony and Toshiba. Retailers will sometimes accept your old electronics if you are purchasing a replacement product.

One Person’s Trash…
