Sprint to Launch More Green Phones, Packaging

Sprint announced this week that it will require all new phones to go through third-party testing to improve repairability, recyclability and energy efficiency. Paperboard Manufacturers Up Costs Due to Inflation

North America's recycled paperboard manufacturers are increasing their prices in response to rising costs for raw material, despite the lowered demand for recycled paperboard in the current economy. Paper mills, including Strathcona Paper, Graphic Packaging, RockTenn, Sonoco, PaperWorks Industries, Caraustar, Newark Group and Ox Paperboard will be raising prices $40 per ton for shipments beginning this month. In-N-Out Commended for Recycling Efforts

Expanded N.Y. Mall Recycles 91 Percent of Construction Material

Florida Company Recycles 100% Waste Tires

Florida Tire Recycling Inc. (FTR), recently unveiled its "Closed-Loop Product Lifecycle Solution" program, which recycles, reuses and reclaims 100 percent of discarded waste tires.
