A slice of lemon can bring new life to a boring glass of tap water when you’re out at a restaurant. Not only that, but lemon can benefit your health too. It’s a wonderful detoxifier than can aid in your digestion – a great side benefit when you indulge a little too much at dinner. In addition, the vitamin C can help boost your immune system. And regular use can help support your weight loss goals.

But do the benefits of adding lemon to your water outweigh the risks? According to a Journal of Environmental Health study, 70 percent of the lemon rinds and flesh swabbed and tested produced microbial growth. A total of 76 lemons sourced from 21 different restaurants were part of this study.

When life gives you lemons, drink them.

If you love lemon water, but don’t want the bacterial risk, you’re in luck. Full Circle Home has developed reusable bottles that solve this issue. Now you can take your own fresh-prepared lemon water with you on the go!

Full Circle sprouted out of a vision shared by a group of friends. Home goods could be beautifully designed, super functional and responsibly produced. Our name, Full Circle, reflects this philosophy. We believe that products made from materials that come from earth can have long, functional lives and then return to where they came from, rather than collecting in a landfill. We also believe our home is a reflection of who we are. Everything in it tells a story and expresses a belief. That’s why we see every product and tool in the home as an opportunity to inspire a richer experience. As it turns out, the little things make a big difference.

The Wherever Lemon Glass Water Bottle from Full Circle Home allows you to bring 20 ounces of lemon water with you no matter where life takes you. To use these reusable bottles, all you have to do is fill your bottle with water. Next, juice half of a lemon (grapefruit and orange work, too!) by twisting and squeezing it around the citrus reamer. Toss the rind into your compost (or use it to make citrus-infused vinegar for cleaning), then just apply the lid and there’s no peel floating in your water. Note: The citrus reamer is removable as well.

Best of all, the Wherever Lemon Water Bottle is BPA-free and made of glass (with some silicone and recycled plastic pieces), which is the cleaner and greener choice in reusable bottles. It has a specially designed soft lid to help absorb the shock if you accidentally drop your bottle. It’s even dishwasher safe on the top rack.

If you’ve been looking for a brand of reusable bottles that will allow you to enjoy infusions on the go, pick up a Wherever Lemon Glass Water Bottle.
