We Earthlings

If someone improperly disposed of 1 quart of motor oil by pouring it down the drain, it could pollute 1 million gallons of water. And that’s just the waste from one single oil change.

If you change your vehicle’s oil yourself, be sure to recycle the oil and filters to conserve natural resources. The re-refining process removes contaminants from motor oil so it can be reused. And oil filters are comprised mostly of steel, which is very recyclable.
