The quote comes from the diary Frank kept for two years while she and her family were hiding from the Nazis during World War II. Although her life was tragically cut short in a German concentration camp while she was still a teenager, Anne Frank is remembered through her remarkable diary, which was later published as “The Diary of a Young Girl.”
