Step 3: Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’
Next, start rolling your strips. The toughest part is the beginning of each strip; however, it goes faster once you get the hang of it. To secure each roll, I used a small, narrow piece of tape. (Using tape is cleaner than attempting to glue each roll. Plus, the tape can be easily hidden when the roll is attached to the frame.)
Step 4: Get to gluing
After rolling all the strips, glue each piece onto the frame one by one using a paintbrush and decoupage medium. When you’ve finished adhering the rolls, let your project dry completely for about 15 minutes. Then use two additional coats of decoupage medium on top. Allow it to dry between coats.
