OK I'm confused. Hopw do I get rid of old lawn mowers and gas weed eaters? No-one seems to take them. Do I have to take them all apart to dispose of the scrap metal seperately from the plastics?

Lend them to your neighbors. You'll never see them again.

Basic story is I could dismantal the things and deposit the metal for scrap and send the plastic to land fill, or I could drain the gas and oil and dump the whole lot in land fill. I do not have the time to take apart old garden tools, so the land fill wins!

The recycling event at Corvallis disposal takes those things when they have the scrap metal day. They do it about 4 times a year.

I heard it was good for hard soils but it must be pulverized and tilled into the soil. Then I read all the binding agent in it is bad for the soil or anything you plan on eating from that soil.

Hey Brandon, did you try the green search box on any page on our site? It should help you find out where you can take it!

Jennifer 'Giacoppo' Berry, I did. There were no listings. I was hoping someone on here might know some information that isn't on the internet about recycling drywall. I think my yard around the places where I don't want to grow anything edible will the where I end up disposing of it.

The company I work for makes commercial electronic communication equipment. What product category should our customers enter when looking for a recycling center for end-of-life product? Will this product classification be consistent from state to state?
