Inspired by the resourcefulness of their great, great, great grandparents generation, Liberty Bottleworks’ founders strive to minimize waste.
Liberty is dedicated to preserving the environment and cares about people. Our bottles are made with recycled material and are entirely recyclable. We are committed to developing new processes in design and fabrication that will make our products last longer and consume less waste.
To date, their manufacturing factory is approaching 96% waste diversion by using super-efficient Super E Motors, Infrared Energy and Vacuum Recovery Units. They also filter and reuse their own water three times and recycle any remaining scrap. Reuse, repurpose and recycle are embedded into their process.
The difference
Because Liberty Bottles are made with 100% recycled metal and 100% recycled plastic milk jugs (for the bottle cap), they are recyclable should you ever decide to do so. However, as I can personally attest to these bottles are in it for the long haul. I’ve personally owned two for several years now, and after dozens of dishwasher washes (and accidental drops) they still look brand new.
- The cap, again made from 100% recycled milk jugs, uses a patented ¼ turn design. Easy to take on and off, the cap locks in all liquid when fastened on. Nothing is escaping when this baby is screwed on!
- Liberty Bottles also feature a wide mouth threadless design which makes cleaning a breeze. Looking to add ice cubes into your Liberty Bottle? No problem with the wide mouth design. Its tapered neck mimics the smooth pour of a wine bottle. I suppose you could fill your Liberty Bottles with wine if you were really desperate.
Liberty Bottles are BPA free as well as BPH and Phthalate free. They also exceed FDA requirements and are non-toxic.
The deep drawn aluminum construction translates into fewer dents, something I can again attest to. Liberty Bottles come in many different looks, many of which are available at the Earth911 store.
